Celebrating National Nutrition Month and Registered Dietitian Nutritionists

March is National Nutrition Month, serving as a reminder that the foods we eat can have a profound impact on our health. In theory, learning how to build better food habits should be easy. But when you consider that we each have different backgrounds, goals, preferences, and tastes and add life into the mix, putting those principles into practice can sometimes be downright challenging!

That’s why this month we’re also celebrating registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs): credentialed healthcare professionals that can partner with you to personalize your plate and create a sustainable eating plan that meets your individual needs. Some common reasons to consult an RDN include (1)
